Solicitation Round 6: Special Call — Steel and Aluminum Manufacturing — Now Open!

The sixth HPC4Mfg Program solicitation seeks concept papers that spur the use of national lab supercomputing resources in collaboration with entities that manufacture steel and aluminum products in the U.S. for commercial applications and the organizations that support them. This is a special topic call: the new opportunity will support primary and secondary steelmaking and aluminum production processes to help these industries become more competitive by solving key manufacturing challenges. This will help these companies to boost productivity and support American manufacturing jobs. Federal funding of up to $1.2M is available to support up to four (4) new awards.

Concept paper submissions are due Tuesday, September 18, by 11:59 p.m. PDT. Please send submissions to hpc4mfg-submissions@llnl.gov or use the “Submit Concept Paper” button to send email to this address.
